2nd August 2018 - Our first Craftivism and Chat Group

Following feedback from members, volunteers and supporters, we have given our members group a makeover. It is now to be controlled by members and volunteers. They decide what is disc

ussed.

They will have creative space. And, the opportunity to get involved in local decision making.

On 2nd August 2018, we launched our brand new Craftivism and Chat group. We had over 15 members, volunteers and members of the public in attendance. We started the group by having an informal chat as a group and preparing some questions for Abbas Mirza from Merton CCG who was coming in to the group to discuss healthcare in Merton.

The agenda for the first meeting:
1:00 to 2:00pm - Welcome with Refreshments
2:00 to 3:00pm - Come and talk to Abbas from Merton CCG, he wants to know what you think about health services, what is working and what needs to change? Come and have your say!
3:00pm to 4:00pm - Creating Materials to publicise the new group - posters, social media content, poems etc and setting agenda for craft section

The discussion was very interesting and the group had a lot to say. You can read the points that were raised in a power point presentation pulled together by Abbas Mirza of Merton CCG who led the discussion.
