Disability Advice Service Lambeth (dasl), together with our partners Merton Centre
for Independent Living, is offering a series of free online training courses for people who employ Personal Assistants (PAs). This is an opportunity to learn about keyaspects of being an employer, so you can confidently manage care and support.
All courses are free to attend. You can sign up for as many of them as you like.
Training is held online using Zoom, so you do not need to travel.
Up to 15 employers can attend each course, with plenty of opportunities for group discussion and peer support with other employers.
Courses will be led by Richard from dasl’s Direct Payments team, with guest speakers on payroll, insurance, legal advice, training and DBS checks.
You will receive a certificate and will be able to support other employers.
You will receive copies of presentations and website links for key information.
