housing

We all deserve to live in a home that allows us to maintain our independence, have choice and control, and feel safe. The lack of accessible and affordable housing across London makes this far from reality for many Disabled Londoners. Merton CIL has long expressed concern about the lack of accessible housing in Merton. We aim to push to raise accessibility standards for new build homes in the borough, improve local procedures around housing for local Disabled people and more.
